REI Agro : The CBI on Thursday arrested the chairman of REI Agro along with a promoter of the company in connection with an alleged bank loan fraud of Rs 3,871 crore.
Tata Communications : The company on Thursday reported a loss of Rs 209 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2017. The gross revenue for the same quarter stood at Rs 4,300 crore.
IIFL Holdings : IIFL Holdings reported a 57 per cent rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 234.55 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 2017. The net profit was at Rs 149.70 crore during same period of 2015-16 fiscal.
L&T Finance : The company on Thursday reported a 33 per cent rise in net profit for the March quarter at Rs 316 crore on higher loan growth and better asset quality following its decision to exit non-core businesses earlier in the year.
Indian Bank : Public sector Indian Bank has reduced the base lending rate by 0.20 per cent to 9.45 per cent. The new base rate will come to effect from next week.
HCC : Hindustan Construction CompanyBSE -5.81 % (HCC) posted a four per cent decline in standalone net profit at Rs 20.9 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017. The company had reported net profit of Rs 21.81 crore in the year-ago period.
Wockhardt : Drug firm WockhardtBSE -3.40 % reported widening of its consolidated net loss to Rs 174.72 crore during the fourth quarter ended March 31, mainly on account of Brexit and subdued business in the US, UK markets.
MCX : Leading commodity bourse MCX posted a 10.43 per cent jump in its consolidated net profit at Rs 126.58 crore for the fiscal ended March 31, on higher income. The net profit stood at Rs 114.62 crore in the previous fiscal, the exchange said in a BSE filing.
