Thailand invited Indian pharma & information technology companies to invest in the South-East Asian country. “We are the top leading economy in ASEAN & invite Indian companies to invest in pharma and information technology sector for our growth.
We are about to look at Thai companies to invest in India,” Thailand Board of Investment Director & Consul (Investment) Kanokporn Chotipal told in reports here. Several Indian companies like Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Tech Mahindra , Apollo, Wipro , Aditya Birla Group, Polaris, 3i Infotech & Tech Tree have operations in Thailand, she told.
There is a lot of scope for increasing trade volume between the two Asian countries, she added. “We export polymer, chemical products, iron, motor cars & steel products, air condition machines and precious stones & jewellery to India.
We import chemical products, machinery parts, jewellery including silver bars, gold, vehicle parts & vegetable products from India,” Mr. Chotipal told.
